I want to provide quality law enforcement to all persons. Provide safe, secure and humane detention facilities, as well as provide programs for those entrusted to the departments care. I want to restore the integrity, respect and honor within the department. I am ready to serve the citizens of Wayne County as their Sheriff.

My children and I learned a tremendous amount last year campaigning. We are ready to start again for November 2012!
Last year I met people that were truly ready for someone different to come into Wayne County Politics. I believe 2012 will be a great opportunity for Wayne County Citizens to vote for someone that is humbled and ready to serve Wayne County and not themselves.
Something that was truly special - is that so many people who don't know me and that don't know the passion I have for improving the Sheriff's department stood behind me and supported me last year. There were people that sent donations, sent encouraging and inspiring e-mails, and prayers that had never met me. Whether you picked me because you don't care for the other guy, because you wanted a woman in office or just simply a vote for the underdog, I appreciate you and your support.

I will be the humble public servant that the citizens of Wayne County deserve. I believe that the voters and citizens are my boss and I will do my best to meet your needs. I will listen to your concerns and answer your questions. I enjoyed mingling and meeting people last year campaigning and I can't wait to do it as your Sheriff.
When considering who to vote for, please don't just look at the category ~ being Sheriff isn't about being a republican or democrat. It's about being fair, honest and impartial. Vote for me because I have a passion for improving the department that I work for. This isn't a political stepping stone for me.
I am hard working, trustworthy and honest. I have helped the sheriff's department get grants, compile budgets, gather statistics, and improve policies and procedures. I will continue to learn every aspect of the Sheriff's department while striving to better myself.
